203CR Summary

CR is an acronym for “Club Racer”. 203CR adopts bull horn bar handle, deep rim, high functional sporty saddle, larger chain wheel (52T), twin tube frame and full aluminum for people who like to ride longer distances at fast speed. This unique design and color stands out in public which offers satisfaction of riding as well as possessing. It is easy to fold and to carry around (only 11.6kg!!) so that you can take it on the car or train. The design gives an aggressive appearance. It is recommended for anyone who wants something different from others. This is the masterpiece of BE-S series!!

Color

Frame color is “Biarritz Black” and the color of front fork, saddle and tire is “Arizona Yellow”. 203CR design keeps functional beauty by removing extra color and decoration.

Other than frame color, small parts such as crank, quick lever, and brake caliper are painted black so that the beauty of frame stands out. There is no compromise even for small parts.

Running Performance

The wheel has a deep rim and this improves stability by improving the “Gyro Effect”. The tires are sporty road tires to achieve a light riding feeling while in a straight line and cornering. The front chain wheel has 52T which is larger than 48T (202 model) and this improves the top speed. Handle bar is set at optimum height to improve comfort under various running arrangements.

Functionality

203CR main characteristics, bull horn bar handle is adopted and it reduces wind resistance and therefore tiredness at high speed. A sporty high and functional saddle improves ride comfort especially at long distance travel. This bicycle maintains the highest level of ride comfort without comprimising performance.

Before, I was using a GIANT, MR-4 to go to work, however, I decided to buy this bicycle in case car and train transportation is necessary in the future. I have been using for 1 week so far and I am very satisfied with the quality. It is light, easy to fold, uses road tires and has 6 speeds. One thing I discovered was because the gear change is located in the middle of handle bar, I need to move my hand to shift gear.
